Guest Post by Liz Novak: Top 5 Things Still to Do This Summer… with the MCBA

By guest blogger, Liz Novak

It’s hard to believe that summer is halfway over and that August is here! If you’re looking for things to do with the rest of the summer, here are a few suggestions:

5. Stop by the Young Lawyers Section Happy Hour on August 15. The Happy Hour is at La Luna in High Falls, and come rain or shine the Young Lawyers will be there celebrating summer and starting off the new year with a bang. So stop by, have a beverage or snack, and meet our upcoming leaders.

4. Catch up on CLEs. Take one of our live CLEs (we have two in August) or choose from our vast online and video library.

3. Practice your golf swing… and after you do that, sign up for the Lawyers for Learning Golf Tournament on Monday, September 9 at Eagle Vale Golf Course. You could win a free car! (…if you’re a really good golfer and can hit a hole-in-one)

2. Make your donation to the Foundation’s Raise the Bar Annual Appeal.  Just click here and make it right online – so easy. Your donation supports programs like the award-winning Rochester Diversity Clerkship Program, Teen Court, DEAFund and more! Plus, all your friends are doing it… check it out!
